EXACTLY. I really wonder if it's Roberts or Ohtani that's the one who's obsessed with getting him to pitch again. The wear and tear of that 2 way role and continued focus on pitching is most likely why he's still playing through injuries and not effective at the plate. No coincidence then that the Doyers have had the worst offense in the MLB while he's been playing through all the injuries. He's hurting himself and the team at this point, so just order him to rest and at least we can have his bat for the playoffs.
