Yeah I agree. Honestly we had a make-shift team out there tonight and didn't do bad at all.
When the new signings actually get to play a few and train and learn the style of play we'll see major improvements.
If you look at what would be our starting 11 it's pretty damn strong. Tons of potential and a lot of youth mixed with experience.

Came here to post something similar, but you expressed it perfectly. Even with losing the 3 starting matches of the season, there is this feeling of excitement for me watching my new team AV. I've been following Emery since his Sevilla days and fully trust him abilities as manager. Losing 7 players who won the Europa last season looked bleak, but as the transfer window ends I believe AV are actually a stronger and now younger team that could compete at the highest level.
Yes, all those new signings will need time to adjust, learn, and gel together but I still see this squad fighting for top 5 this season and playing CL again next season.
PS. I like you mentioned Gomes last. I think a lot of AV fans are overhyping his abilities.

鈴木は圧巻だった。ビッグセーブに加えてあのパスレンジの広さよ！最初は緊張気味だったが、味方と打ち解ければとんでもない存在になる。今日で一発でファンになったわ。

Suzuki was so good, I mean the save and the range of passing. He looked so nervous at first but he is going to be some keeper when he gells with his teammates. Absolutely loved him today. Jackson was on it too, we’re going to need to get players closer about him for those 1-2s for him to play off. Maatsen needs to stay on his feet . I can’t wait to see what happens when Goretzka nd Manzambi and Mbaye are in that team. I felt for Hemmings he was so close to making a real difference, well played lad keep working on fizzing those passes in, it’s an adjustment but you’ll get there.

かなり好印象なパフォーマンスだろ。強固な構造で相手にスペースを与えなかったし、鈴木はまさに現代型GKそのものだ。セットプレーが得意な王者相手のデビュー戦としては上出来すぎる。

Pretty decent performance that. Structure looked good, didnt give them to much space or chance. We lacked something going forward, but still felt we were close to something at times. Jackson looked good on the ball and lively in his movement. Suzuki looks like a proper modern GK. Not easy having your PL debut against the champions, known for being a good set piece team. Also really like Alysson, straight in and goes past Califiori and gets the cross in. Absolutely something to build on. Cant wait to see how we look when all new players are fully integrated.
