一番の収穫はゴールの生まれ方だな。昨季は後方からのロングボール以外でゴールが決まった記憶がないのに、ゴール正面での細かいパスワークから2点も生まれたのは信じられない。泥臭さはあったが攻撃の意識が変わったよ。まだ序盤で守備の綻びは丸見えだったけど、3点取って勝ち点3を拾えた。それにミチェルはどうしちゃったんだ？ いつもスタンド上段へ宇宙開発シュートを打ってたのに、エリア外から枠の隅へ曲げるハーフボレーを叩き込むなんて。監督の練習メニューの4割は『とにかくネット目掛けて蹴り込め』に違いない。

A major takeaway is how these goals have been created. Two goals coming from tight passing directly in front of goal is incredible considering that last season I can't remember a goal that didn't originate from a long ball out of the back. Bit scrappy, sure, but the attacking mentality has changed. It's still early in the season and the cracks were on full display defensively but we've walked out with 3 goals and 3 points.
Also what the fuck has happened to Mitchell? Notorious for moonshooting the ball in to the upper sections and now scoring braces or hitting a curling half volley to the top of the goal from outside the box? Sage's training schedule must be 40% getting the lads to just ping the ball at the net.

チームとして良くなって正しい方向に向かってる感覚はある。前線の連携は噛み合ってきたのに、なぜ守備陣の優秀な選手たちが初歩的なミスを連発するのかが分からない。

I just feel we are getting better as a team and going in the right direction. The players seem to be clicking better up front but I don't understand why perfectly good players at the back make shoddy mistakes?

So lucky we've got Lerma to do a Kouyate and fill in at CB but dam... need another solid CB, without a history of injuries.

Very funny match. First 35 minutes or so were absolutely shambolic, we absolutely have to sort out our defence. Thank fuck that Liam Delap is diabolically shit.
Second half was better but we still look way too vulnerable when we lose the ball imo.

正直言って見てて本当に胃が痛くなる試合だった。チャンスを確実に決めて相手の前線がデラップだったから生き残れただけ。自信に繋がる素晴らしい結果だしミチェルは際立ってたけど、ウォートンは本来の姿じゃない。守備は本気で手入れが必要だ。窓口でちゃんとしたCBをもう1人獲っておくべきだった。結果は最高だが問題点から目を逸らすなよ。

Let's be honest, that was a horrible, horrible watch.
We came out the other end of it because we were clinical and they had Delap up front. Fantastic result which will hopefully breed some confidence. Timber and Mitchell absolutely outstanding, with JSL putting in a proper shift. Wharton is not himself.
Defensively though, dear lord, we need to put some work in. I wish we'd signed another proper CB in the window.

Defended like we'd never played football before for half an hour, very fortunate to be ahead at half time and the third goal killed it really, Forest offered very little after that.
Glasner got some stick and then a good reception at the end which is probably about right
