両方だよ。確か神宮は日本のプロ野球でも屈指の狭さで、甲子園はトップクラスに広い。その上ライト側から浜風が押し戻すから、左打者の引っ張りには特に厳しいんだ（全体的にもホームランが出にくいけどな）。
both. iirc Jingu has one of the smallest dimensions in NPB while Koshien has one of the largest, and the sea breeze pushes in from RF, making it particularly tough for lefty hitters to pull (although it makes it difficult for HRs in general)

パークファクターとは、その球場でホームランが出やすいか出にくいかを表す指標のことだ。
甲子園の強い風の影響で、左打者のホームランパークファクターは神宮の約3分の1、つまり3.3倍ほど出にくい計算になる。
右打者にとっても、甲子園の広さゆえにホームランパークファクターは平均よりかなり低い。
だから甲子園を拠点とするチームは、投手戦やロースコアの展開を想定して戦術を組むんだ。
日本のプロ野球12球場の中で、甲子園はダントツでホームランを打つのが難しい球場なんだよ。
As an additional note,
Park factor means how easy or difficult it is to hit home runs at a stadium.
Because of the strong wind at Koshien, the home run park factor for left-handed batters is only about 1/3 of Jingu’s, meaning it is about 3.3 times lower.
Even for right-handed batters, Koshien’s large field makes the home run park factor much lower than the average.
Because of this, teams playing at Koshien make their strategies expecting a pitching battle and a low-scoring game.
Koshien is by far the hardest stadium in the 12 NPB stadiums to hit home runs in.

甲子園球場はセントラル・リーグで最も広く、一番ホームランが出にくい場所だ。そこで本塁打王を獲得した佐藤はとんでもない選手だよ。
Koshien Stadium is the most spacious ballpark in the Central League, where it is hardest to hit home runs. Sato is an amazing player who won the home run title there.
ブルージェイズのファンだけど、岡本の守備には嬉しいサプライズだった。ゴールドグラブ賞を取るほどではないにしても、メジャーで十分通用する三塁手だし一塁も守れる。守備には疑念もあったからね。三振を減らして打率を上げられれば、メジャーで素晴らしいキャリアを築けるはずだ。初年度から30本塁打90打点以上は打つだろう。メジャー1年目としては悪くないね。
As a Jays fan, I'm pleasantly surprised by Okamoto's defense. He won't win any gold glove, but he is an adequate mlb third baseman and he can play first base as well. There was some doubt about his defence. If he can cuts down on strike out and increase his average, he is going to have a nice career in mlb. He will hit 30 plus hr and 90 rbis in his first season. Not bad for the first mlb season.
コメントありがとう！今見ている岡本はまだ完成形じゃないと思いたいし、そう期待しているよ。日本にいた頃は本当に三振が少なくて（最後の年は三振率11.3%）、四球だって今以上にとれる選手だった。メジャーで三振が増えるという最悪のシナリオが現実になってしまったけれど、それでも初年度の総合的な貢献度では鈴木誠也と同レベルにいる。誠也はそれ以来リーグ屈指の右打者だし、岡本もそうなってほしいね！
Thank you for dropping a comment, I think and hope the Okamoto we're seeing right now is going to be quite different from his final form. He was so good at avoiding the K in NPB (11.3 K% in his final year) and can walk more than he's doing right now. His worst case scenario in terms of increase in strike outs in MLB has come true and yet he's in line with Seiya Suzuki overall production-wise in the first season. Seiya has been one of the best RHBs in the league since then and I hope Okamoto can be too !

Hes a hidden gem and is absolutely nuts on the basepaths. 30.4 ft / sec sprint speed. In the 2023 WBC he went from 1st to home in 10.3 seconds

Thank you for your comment, I absolutely agree, Shuto is my favorite player outside MLB and my profile picture! Wanted to make my 1st video be about him but Sato is definitely the guy with buzz right now. My favorite Shuto myth is that he allegedly ran a 5.7 sec 50m dash, which would be the fastest in Jp history and not far from the world record. Everyone says the way they measure it with baseball players is bogus so I don't believe it but it's more fun to ignore that and think of him as the fastest sprinter in the country

The NY Mets passed on Japanese 2025 free agents Kazuma Okamoto and Munetaka Murakami. Both players have been very solid in their first season in MLB. He cannot afford to pass on Teruaki Sato in 2026 free agency. He would be a tremendous upgrade at 1B.

’s absolutely correct, he chases too many balls. It’s always a strike out, pop up, or Homer. He doesn’t play baseball. When he chases, it’s half swing. The balls pitchers throw in MLB is much faster and curves more. The worse is his attitude. There’s no fire in his eyes. He acts like he’s got skills and top player, yet he Sukks. It’s like a star little leaguer acting big in his small town, but cant in the city championship because there’s better players than him.

だから佐藤と村上のホームラン数を単純に横並びで比較するのは、佐藤にとってあまり公平じゃない。
one thing to note is that Koshien (Tigers' home ground) is considered very pitcher friendly and especially tough for lefty power hitters, while say, Jingu Stadium (Swallows home ground) is hitter friendly
so just a side-by-side comparison of Sato and Murakami's HR numbers is not exactly fair to Sato
