I doubt we'll ever again see one of these where there's this many players we've never seen before show up all at once. Manzambi, Mbaye, Goretzka, THB... good to see they're at least getting to know each other behind the scenes. Lot of work to do before this (admittedly very talented) group of strangers becomes a true squad.

Not at all. At one point you hear Emery saying manzambi will join for a bit. That's alot way from game ready. Defo don't want to rush him back. I'd say it'll be after the international break

Ha ha, I think it's one of those drills where you have a couple 'floating' players (marked out by the bibs), who switch sides to whoever's in possession, that way the defending team always has to scramble and try to deal with an overload against them. Probably does make them less likely to tackle him though, given the second they win the ball he'll be on their side.

狭いエリアの練習だと、フリーマンのMFはプレッシャー下でのパス出し、守備側は数的不利の対応を同時に鍛えられるんだよね。
In team drills its common for a few midfielders (depending on the size of the teams and specific drill) to play as neutral players. If you're practicing in an extra small area like in the video the midfielders in question get more practice passing under pressure and the defense gets practice defending while overloaded.
これ数日前の映像だから、ハル戦で展開が良ければ5分くらい出るかもね。※追記：エメリがハル戦は出ないけどブルッヘ戦ならあり得るって言ってたわ。
