I'm glad to see it. Was rough watching him hit the wall as a starter when he wasn't battling injury. His set of tools lend themselves to this type of role and it's nice that the team, and Senga have finally given it a shot.

I need him to retire with us, now, if we can keep him as a reliever. I know it’s sentimental but I’ve seen so many good performances of his, in person, I don’t want him to go anywhere else.

This is reminding me a lot of when Familia made the transition to the role. Hopefully Senga can extend his MLB career in this new role if the starting things never ends up working out.
