They do it every single game constantly, no matter the hitter. It’s actually the most annoying thing in the world to listen to game after game after game. You’d think by now they’d have more chants but it’s literally either “let’s go Tigers” or “USA!” It’s the tarps off section in the upper deck, first base side.

I can’t say they didn’t mean anything by it cause anyone who breaks into spontaneous USA chants for no reason is a bit suspect, but they 100% do it every single game. It’s really annoying.

Have been to a handful of games this year and can confirm the idiot look-at-me-Louie’s up there chant it as part of the four chants that they can collectively come up with. Not saying it wasn’t malicious, but they chant it in situations when it can’t be seen as malicious too.

Dude, the Tigers have numerous players from other countries. Those fans are not doing the USA chant as an affront to Murakami. They're not even paying attention to the game or who is batting.
