I've rewatched that game more times than I can count and that inning just countless times. I still feel excited when Nixon doesn't make the catch on Jeter's* double.
The funny thing is, Pedro owned Matsui. But Matsui got to him in the 8th and then obviously got him again in the 2009 World Series.
Anyway, it was incredible. Just an amazing rally

Heard about Matsui and the Oda backdoor deal yesterday. Add that to the news talking about Oda growing up in a poor, single parent household and him talking about how we wants to do everything he can to help his mom. Things are beginning to make sense.
