一番のニュースは、侍ジャパンが日本のスポーツブランドであるミズノを切って、新しい公式ユニフォームのサプライヤーにニューバランスを選んだことじゃないか。
追記：日本のツイッターによると、新しいユニフォームのデザインに対する日本人の反応は圧倒的に不評で、ダサいって言われてるらしい。

The bigger news should be that Samurai Japan ditched Mizuno, a Japanese sportswear brand, and picked New Balance as its new official jersey supplier.
Edit: Japanese people’s reaction to the new jersey design is overwhelmingly negative according to Japanese twitter, calling it ダサい(uncool).

American here, ive always found mizuno makes by far the best quality gear (eapecially fielding gloves), to me this is a huge misstep

As an American, I love the Mizuno brand. Many years ago I used to ride Mizuno carbon forks on my bikes for no other reason than I thought they had a cool logo design.
Anyway as for these jerseys they look like 1800s style, which tbh so did the last version. Not a big fan of that (or the Giants) wordmark.

IMO these are a step down from the Mizuno but I absolutely loved their WBC unis. These aren't bad at all though either.

侍ジャパンのユニフォームがヤンキースに似ていて、韓国代表のユニフォームがドジャースに似ているのは興味深いね。お似合いだと思うよ。

I find it notable that Samurai Japan's uniforms resemble the Yankee uniforms, while Team Korea's uniforms resemble the Dodgers' uniforms. I find it fitting.
