佐藤は阪神タイガースの選手としては40年ぶりの三冠王。最後は阪神のレジェンド、1985年と1986年のランディ・バースだな。

That stretch coincided with the Swallows being an elite team that could support him (the 2021 team won the Japan Series). After his injuries, the team declining, the pressure of his notoriety as a hitter after his 2022 season becoming suffocating, and the baseball becoming super dead. He focused more on his power stroke to carry the load offensively and that changed his swing.

それはないな…JDPや他の外野プロスペクトのために枠を空ける必要があるから、オフシーズンにテオのトレードを考えなきゃいけないんだ。知っての通り、マンシーは引退するまでサードを守るだろうしね。控えでも構わないと言うかもしれないし、ドジャースが暴走してSatoをサードのスタメンにしてマンシーをユーティリティの控えにするなんてこともあり得るが、流石にクレイジーすぎるだろ。
Not happening... we actually have to consider trading Teo coming off season as we need to make a room for JDP and other OF prospects, and as we know, Muncy is keeping 3B until he retires. He may say he is fine with back up role and Dodgers can go crazy by having Sato as 3B starting and Muncy as utility back up, but that sounds pretty crazy

I'm not sure how committed Middleton is... more I look at him, he almost seems like a lucky Arte Moreno. It will be a very interesting and long off-season for Phillies I suspect. Phillies may have another year to go all in next season and more, or press rebuilding button or year after.

My ideal offseason would be:
- Sign a decent starting pitcher, maybe Freddy Peralta or Joe Ryan
- Sign Teruaki Sato
- Resign Edmundo Sosa, Jose Alvarado and maybe Tim Mayza, everyone else goes
- Trade Brandon Marsh for whatever prospects we can scrounge up
- Get a few bullpen pieces and depth pieces as we can

I really want us to re-sign Arraez and then go after either Suzuki or Arozarena. I feel like we really need to get one of the better right-handed bats on the market.

I honestly don't see much of the ceiling from Freeland at this point... I mean he looks okay, but my worry is he may be okay at best. I hope I'm wrong as we need future 3B/SS/2B, but he hasn't really impressed me much as a future.
