Like many Villa fans, I hated the thought of replacing Martinez - a following Fergie type scenario - but I'm all in with this guy, he looks the real deal. You only have to look at how many GKing fuck ups Chelsea & Utd have made to know it's not easy

I've been so impressed by what I've seen so far. Even just seeing the different types of training he does (can't remember where I saw it but loads of really technical stuff on reflexes not with a football etc).

People were definitely impressed by him in the WC, and I know Man U were going to get him before they got their current GK, PSG were gonna get him too before he decided to come here.
