Japanese clubs choose random cool sounding foreign words as their name most of the time. Aside from Italian they also use Spanish, Portuguese, and German words. As for Fagiano it's a reference to local Okayama folktale, Momotaro.

もっと凝った由来だとアルビレックス新潟がある。エンブレムに白鳥と星が描かれていて、アルビレオは白鳥座で一番明るい星の名前だ（元はアルビレオ新潟だったが商標の関係で、ラテン語で白王を意味する『X』を組み合わせてアルビレックスになった）。
キジも岡山の桃太郎伝説で重要な役割を果たしていて、お供としてキジが登場するだろ。それが岡山の象徴となり、ファジアーノ岡山になったわけだ

Pre J-League all the teams used to be named after big corporations (things like Mitsubishi, or All Nippon Airlines), so they decided to get rid of that but wanted the league to stand out vs baseball, so they just took European names that somewhat matched their origins.
Urawa Red Diamonds is because Mitsubishi logo has red diamonds to give an easy example.
Frontale I think was just a random word they picked (someone might correct me on that), but the team colours are because of a partnership with Brazilian club Gremio when they rebranded.
An example of a more long winded connection is Albirex Niigata, where they have a swan and a star on their logo, and Albireo is the brightest star in the Cygnus (swan) constellation (it used to be Albireo Niigata but some copyright got in the way and so they changed to Albirex, also read as white king in latin, referencing the swan)
Pheasants are also a big part of the Momotaro legend in Okayama, where he has a green pheasant as a companion. This has made it a symbol of Okayama and hence Fagiano Okayama
