職場で何度か『Diligentさん』って呼ばれたことがあって（それで、特定の人と話すときは敬称を返すのを忘れないようにって学んだんだ）、だから誰にでも適用されるもの（尊敬する人全般）だと思ってた。でも『君（くん）』を使っているのは聞いたことがなかったから、調べてみたんだ。『君』って、よく知らないけど親しみを感じる相手に使う感じなのかな？例えば、好きな女優や政治家に対して使うような？どんな『ニュアンス』があるんだろう？
I’ve had folks call me Diligent-san at work before on a few occasions (and that cued me in to remember to return the honorific when speaking with certain folks) so I thought that would just apply for everyone (general for someone you respect) but I don’t think I’ve heard anyone use -kun before, so I had to read up. Is -kun more for someone you might not know but feel fond of? Like if I admired an actress or statesman? What’s the “flavor” it has?
