Skubal has a bit of that "and I took that personally" mentality where he motivates himself by overblowing perceived slights or manufacturing them out of thin air. Definitely doesn't seem like it would vibe with your squad.

Sidetrack but I’ve never been impressed by Nobu outside of the miso glazed cod. Then again that cod is 100% worth the trip.

そういう店って面白いよな。全体的に平凡なメニューの中で1〜2つだけ神級の料理がある店。うちの近くのメキシカンも全体的には普通なんだけど、チリ・ベルデだけは跳び上がるほど美味いんだよ。
Restaurants like this are fascinating. Like the type with like 1 or 2 S tier items in a mostly mediocre menu. There's a Mexican restaurant near me where everything is, you know, pretty much fine... except the Chile Verde that friggin' slaps your lips off it's so good.
まさに俺もそう思った。デザートと銀ダラは絶品だったけど、他はまあ普通。間違いなくもっと良い店はあるよね。
Pretty much how I felt. The dessert and cod were stellar, but everything else was fine? definitely way better options
