I also feel it's a little unfair for the other Dodgers player whenever they show a Youtube video on the search, the screenshot of most Dodgers vs "other team" games always have Ohtani on there as the main face even though he didn't really do anything for that particular regular season or postseason game.
He is the face of baseball even if he doesn't have to contribute every day.

Umm….he hit 30 hr’s and still missed a good chunk of the season. When he pitched he was electric. He was still stepped up to the plate with only the use of one shoulder and one leg. He should have been out there in a cast in one arm with a cane. Not one other player has played hurt like him. He definitely should get it.

He is also third in WAR so why wouldn't he be a finalist. People are just so used to Shohei existing they forgot how insanely rare is to be an elite two way player. I feel if this was Shohei's first season people would be making serious MVP consideration for just being an unicorn.
