アディダスのワールドカップアウェイキットも、全部同じアディダスオリジナルスのテンプレートだったんだぜ。めっちゃかっこよかったけど、その事実は変わらない。
Every adidas World Cup away kit was the same Adidas Originals template too. They were badass, but that doesn’t change the fact.

90年代とか00年代みたいにもっと競争があった時代が懐かしいな。カッパのジャージを復活させてくれよ。

正直なところ、一般のファンはカッパのジャージなんてまず着れないだろうね。当時の平均的なサッカー選手も、パンパンのソーセージみたいにねじ込まれてたからさ。でも、もっと小規模なメーカーが増えて、テンプレートの粗悪品ばかり出すんじゃなくて、良いものを作ってくれるといいなとは思うよ。
In fairness, your average fan will never fit into a Kappa jersey, when your average football player looked like they were squeezed into one like an overfilled sausage casing. I do think that more smaller manufacturers would be good though and not just churning out template crud.

Idk I think they were very loose fitting. More modern ones were more tight. But its also hard to go back as the sponsorship kit deals are so lucrative now. Idk how anyone new could jump in without it being publically funded. Which wouldnt look great as its more of the same issue. Guess thats why there is a market for retro and alt kits

that jersey is clearly not tight. Kappa made Fiorentina’s kits last year and i owned a few of the players cuts, weren’t tight at all

It would be nice to see Fila, Kappa make a comeback. Either one would be better over Castore or Joma.

You do realize that football shirt makers had templates as far back as 80s and 90s? It’s nothing new. The only difference nowadays is that brands now have a tier system for clubs and the bigger teams get the better templates — ie: elite kits. Whereas smaller and local teams just use basic templates.

Adidas tier system doesn’t make much sense anymore though (or at least it’s changed), for the World Cup many teams had long sleeves (which used to be their elite tier) and many didn’t. At a club level, teams like Newcastle and Aston Villa also have long sleeves and are sharing templates with the likes of United etc.

Why show the 2024 jerseys? These are from the previous cycle and they were quite a bit better for WC26

Adidas hasnt been winning anything. Being ManUtd fan, in more than 10 years they are still to produce a kit, that would come close to flawless brilliance of United 2007/2009 kit by Nike. Their other kits after that, chevron and tartan ones, were superior to anything Adidas too.

ナイキもアディダスも両方同じことをしてるけど、このワールドカップ（とそれに続くクラブシーズン）では、どちらのブランドもより多くのベーステンプレートを作る努力をしたと思う。アディダスは俺の数えたところだと6種類くらいのベーステンプレートがあったのに対し、ナイキも5～6種類くらいだった。主な問題は、ナイキを使う連盟がシンプルなジャージを作りたがる傾向があるから、みんなが同じテンプレートを使ってるのがより目立つんだと思う。アディダスを使う連盟はもっと複雑なデザインにして、違うジャージに見えるような錯覚を起こさせてる感じ。
Both Nike and Adidas do this but both Adidas and Nike made an effort to create more base templates for this World Cup (and the club season to follow). I think adidas had like 6 base templates (by my count) compared to Nike who also had like 5/6. I think the main issue is that the federations who use Nike tend to make play jerseys so you really notice that they are all using the same template, Adidas federations have busier designs that give the illusion that they are different jerseys.

You’re missing the forest for the trees. Hertha isn’t about 'clout'—it’s about precedent. Nobody said Hertha was Barcelona or PSG, but ditching a 26-year footprint in Germany speaks volumes. ナイキは2016年以降、個人的には怠惰だと思う。2016年のユーロのテンプレートは、おそらく彼らの最悪の作品だった。
Nike has been lazy since 2016 IMO, their 2016 Euros template was probably their absolutes worst
私もそう思います。あれは本当にひどかった。最後に上品なキットを作ったのは2014年のワールドカップだと思います。多様なキットが見られましたが、今はどれも同じで、独創性も薄れてますね。
I agree those edge absolutely horrible. I'd say they last did classy kits during the 2014 world cup you could see a variation of kits but it's all samey now and less intuitive.

Kinda weird that “template grrr!“ is your complaint and you’re using 2024 kits and you’re holding up Adidas as the counter-example. 2024 was when Adidas pretty much put every national team in the Teamgeist update template.
