Under the right management they sure could be. The have enough quality for a good manager to lead them to a potential semi-final and beyond imo. With the right manager you can achieve anything even if the individual quality is not the best in the world and many "weaker" teams have had great achievements with the right chemistry and team management

I agree. Outside of Haaland - which is a massive plus for Norway - the Netherlands have actually a better team. They should be able to reach the quarters of a world cup or semis of a Euro. That should be the expectations. Though timing and luck do play a role. Take for example Brazil in the last WC, even though they were not great to begin with, they had 5-6 injuries to their starting lineup. It’s not possible to compete properly when stuff like that happens

No. The football was terrible to watch. We want fun over results. Most would accept a R32 world cup exit against Morocco if it was 4-3 for Morocco rather than losing on penalties. Now it's just disappointment. Van Gaal is even more passive than Koeman.

I think the opposite, I see countries having more world class coaches with different mindset available to them. I think within the next decade, every country in the world cup will have native coaches.
