5試合全部見たけど、確かに守備は下手だった。でも新加入選手が多くて、それには時間がかかるもんだ。今日なんてスタメン3人がまだ加入して間もない選手だったし、クリス・リチャーズも調子が出てない。守備を立て直す必要があるのは明らかだから、練習でそこに取り組んでるはずだよ。

He didn’t attack the players, he just said he wasn’t happy with the performance. What else is he supposed to say ? I’m actually quite pleased that there’s some honesty and it should motivate the players to improve their level.

I’ve watched all 5 games, yes the defending has been poor but we’re also playing with new personnel and that can take time. Today we had 3 players starting who haven’t been in the door 5 minutes and Chris Richard’s who is out of form. It’s clear we need to sort out the defence, so I’m sure that’s what they’ll be working on in training.

But the real problem is our awful defence, which I'm glad you concede has been poor. Tell you what, if we're still giving up 3 goals a game in the next 5 league matches will you still support him?

前と同じコメント残しておくわ。頼むから4バックに変えてくれないか？5バックは機能してない、中盤に人数かけすぎなんだよ。カンヴォとアハノールかリチャーズを最終ラインに置いて、ミッチとハライリを配置すれば、中盤も厚くできる。

I'll just leave the same comment as last time which is: Can we please switch to a back four? Back five just isn't working, we're overloading the pitch with mid players. Canvot and Ahanor or Richards at the back, Mitch and Khalaili, then we can pack midfield.

左右非対称にしてないのが問題だと思う。右のハライリが上がるなら、左のタイソンが4バックの位置に絞るべきだし、逆も然りだ。

The problem I think is that he’s not playing asymmetrically. If Khal is going forward on the right, Ty should be slotting into a back 4. Likewise with Ty going forward on the left, Khal needs to stay in a defensive position.

Our previously great defending was a hangover from Royball.

ロイ流守備なんて幻想だろ。4-4のブロック組んでもボコボコ失点してたし、簡単に崩されて前線は無力だった。

Royball defending is a myth. We shipped loads of goals playing 2 banks of 4, we were remarkably easy to play through and impotent up front.

No it's not. Sage is trying to play a system of high press, quick passing, and all-out-attack and it doesn't suit our squad at all. The defence looks absolutely clueless - we never looked like that under Glasner.
