W杯前のウォームアップマッチでの日本の試合を見たよ。攻撃が強いし、守備もめちゃくちゃ良い。選手たちはトランジションでのチームバランスの取り方を熟知している。日本はグループリーグを全勝すると思う。決勝まで行くことも期待してるし、そうなっても全く驚かないよ。

I looked at games japan had played in the warm up matches leading to the world cup. I see they are strong in attack. Their defence is very good. Their players know how to balance the team aa is in transition. I see japan winning their 3 matches in their group. I expect japan to all the way to the finals. And this do not surprise me at all.

決勝トーナメントで日本と当たりたい国なんて誰もいないってずっと言ってるんだ、誰もね。スペイン、フランス、アルゼンチン、ブラジル、ポルトガル、ドイツ、イングランド、オランダ、どこも素晴らしいチームだけど、日本はマジで恐ろしく見える。システム、選手層の厚さ、規律、ヤバいフィジカル、俊敏性、技術、勇気、スピード、粘り強さ、そしてボールを持たない時の忍耐力があるし、一瞬でカウンターを仕掛けられる。文字通り弱点がない。ユニフォームに星（優勝マーク）がないっていう実績不足くらいしか突っ込めないけど、それも今年変わるかもしれない。俺は82年からW杯を見てるし審判もやってるから、他の人が気づかないピッチ上の細かいことも見えているつもりだ。今回のW杯の日本は本当に何でも揃ってるし、弱点が見当たらない。めちゃくちゃ良いチームだよ。

I have been saying that nobody wants to face Japan in the knockout rounds, nobody.. With Spain, France, Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, Germany, England, and the Netherlands all great teams.. Japan looks absolutely terrifying feom what I can see.. They have the system, the depth, the discipline, scary fitness, agility, technical skills, courage, quickness, tenacity, and patience without the ball, & they can counter attack in a blink of an eye.. Literally no weaknesses whatsoever.. One can only argue they don’t have the pedigree with no star yet on their jerseys.. This can change this year and I have watched WC soccer since ’82 & I ref soccer.. So I like to think that I have a little bit more knowledge & experience than seeing things on the pitch that others might not pick up.. Japan literally has it all for this WC, no weaknesses that I can see at all.. Extremely good team..

They beat a heavily rotated Brazil, a Germany who aren’t exactly at their best and an England B team. Let’s not get this twisted, they’d probably lose to all three in a World Cup knockout stages. England aren’t going to be missing four key starters. They had no Kane, Saka, Bellingham or Rice.

Id say semifinals, but minamino and mitoma injuries is so massive I cant figure theyll get passed France/Germany/Ceoatia or Brazil/Norway/England theyll have to get past. Theyll still might, very well might, but SADLY they may not.
