Taillon is non-competitive and should never start for the Cubs again he has been atrlcious this year. Hes a good guy and has had decent moments here and there as a Cub but I will be glad when he can be replaced as his contract expires after this season

alright so i understand now: when the cubs get a 10-run game, they will get absolutely demolished and likely lose the next game. if thats the whole pattern, maybe 10-run games arent exactly a great thing edit: though i will give the cubs credit here: they did almost make a nice comeback victory

彼を嫌っているわけではないが、2日連続でホームランか分からない大飛球を打って、ただ打席に立ち尽くして見惚れていた。今回は本塁打にならず、走っていればランニング本塁打だったかもしれないのに、三塁打止まりで得点できなかった。1点差で負けたんだから、全力で走るべきだ。少し大人になってほしい。

I don't hate him, but this is the second day in the row he hit a towering fly ball that might or might not have been a home run, and just stood at the plate admiring it. This time, it wasn't a home run, and so instead of getting an inside-the-park home run, he got a triple, and never scored. And he we lost by one run. I am OK with the passion in the 9th, but when he stared at the ball he hit TWO DAYS IN A ROW, and cost us the game because of it today, THAT pisses me off. I left a comment yesterday pointing out that he didn't run, and was lucky it was a home run, so I basically called this. The boy needs to grow up, and be a man. If I were managing the Cubs, I'd be giving PCA a giant "I told you so" right now, because all he had to do was run when he hit a high fly ball, and instead he just stared at the ball and admired what he thought was probably a home run. So try to get his ear and just ask him as nicely as you can to RUN when he hits a ball that may or may not leave the park. I do love watching him, when he isn't being lazy and egotistical. I just hope he grows up. Go Cubs!

ブルペンばかり批判されるが、先発陣もそこまで素晴らしくはない。エース級の投手たちも、強い相手には平均的に見えてしまう。

For all the flack the bullpen takes, the starting pitching hasn't been that amazing. All the Bucs best pitchers have looked average against better competition. Skenes last year was basically smoking almost every line-up regardless of talent.
