I think the momentum was killed by all the injuries early in the season. The Jays seem like a tight group overall, even with the new guys, and I think seeing their teammates go down in such disheartening ways really took the wind out of their sails. I especially remember the Ponce injury. Guy has such a feel good comeback story, pitches barely an inning, and then goes down with a season ending injury. You could just see it on the field and in the dugout, everyone felt that one. And they were barely given any time to mentally recover before the injuries just started piling on. But Cease and Varland have been incredible. I love Big Oak but it's not just him. And Cease was another big free agency pickup.

's true but, if you're out, you're out, it doesn't matter how you get out, it could be a fly out a ground out (except if it's a sac fly), it doesn't matter, the result is the same. Same thing for the pitchers, don't care how you have an out....most important the hitter is out and you have a 0 on the scoreboard. And still....he's still n1 in HRs and n1 in RBIs.....he's the only one who produces runs ☹️☹️😭

まあ確かに、北米の片隅のチームで細々と量産する程度なら大したものですね。
チームがボロボロやのに孤軍奮闘しとる姿は完全にストライカーやんけ！いや、サッカーのFWなんて足元にも及らんわ！
やれやれ、相変わらず視野の狭い方ですね…そういえば最近ローソンの「Uchi Café」で買った宇治抹茶ロールは実に美味でしたよ。
