Honestly, I think Lucho has some affinity for him and has coached him several times so perhaps he believes in this system that Ferran will unlock his full potential in hopefully a similar fashion to that of Dembele and his PSG journey. I don't quite get it either, but I let the coach do his thing because so far so good!

As a Barca fan I don’t think so, he just doesn’t feel appreciated enough here for some reason even though the club has backed him ever since he was extremely shit until now when he’s turned decent. He is already on very good salaries for a back up player. But I still think it’s a shame to lose him, he is probably the best back up striker in the world and has never shown a bad attitude on the pitch.

As a Barca fan I agree, it’s scary that we’re selling our only striker. Ferran is great if he isn’t the main man, but for us when he was supposed to take the leading role this season he was just too inconsistent. IIRC he went like 2-3 months without scoring.
