日本代表は普段あまり見てないんだけど、右サイドには久保と堂安がレギュラーでいるのは知ってるから、彼にとってはかなり不運だね。でも、少なくとも1回はスタメンで出るだろう。ブラジル戦でチャンスがあればいいけど。

I don't regularly follow Japan's national team, but I know that Kubo and Doan are regulars on the right for them, so he's quite unlucky, but I'm sure he'll at least get one start. Hopefully he gets a chance against Brazil.

Very happy for him. I heard him say a while back that he didn't think it would happen because the Japanese squad is very strong and he would have to be in the premier league. He's one of a few of our players who've been on incredible journeys to this point.
