いや、ピッチャーとしてリハビリ中だったからこそ可能だったって意味だ。肩の怪我は打撃には影響しなかったから、二刀流で時間を割く代わりに打撃に100%集中できた。でもその時点では一刀流（DH）だから、PCAが45/40をやってのけて超一流のセンターを守る方が、50-50のDHよりはるかに価値があるよ。

no i mean it was only possible because he wasnt healthy as a pitcher. his pitching injury had no impact on his ability to hit, and he could 100% focus on hitting vs splitting time and focus. but he's one dimensional at that point and so PCA going 45/40 and playing elite center field is a lot more valuable than a 50/50 dh

Funny how 2 of these guys are below the 75% break even mark. Canseco and Soriano would have been more valuable baserunners had they not attempted a single steal.

大谷は今年、30本塁打、OPS.900超え、防御率1.79、8勝2敗という歴史的なシーズンを送った。PCAがMVPだろうが、洗脳されたバカどもは満票受賞だと本気で思ってる。PCAは打率3割にも届かない.280で、OPSも10割未満。前半戦はパッとしなかった。それなのに大谷が半シーズンしか投げてない（防御率2位、勝利数3位タイでサイ・ヤング賞候補）とケチをつける。それでも大谷は打ち続け、8月末に負傷するまで同等の攻撃力を維持していたんだぞ。

Ohtani had a historic season this year 30 HRs .over 900 OPS 1.79 ERA 8-2 record, PCA will win the mvp but the dummies think it will be unanimous drunk on the kool-aid, PCA is not even batting. 300 has a .280 average and under thousand OPS, and he was mediocre in the first half and than they knock Ohtani for pitching half a season (was 2nd in ERA and tied 3rd in Wins and was a Cy Young candidate) he still batted and had similar offensive statistics until the end of August when he got injured.

I agree he did'nt pitched like a regular starter but no pitchers are hitting everyday. But imagine if a relief pitcher hits 30 HRs an OPS of .900 and a 1.ERA everyone would think he's an alien or Superman and an MVP

The problem is every member was and is capable of doing 40/40 every year. As Jose said recently in an interview. He was told to stop stealing bases. Why? Bonds easily could have had a 40/40 season for about 5-7 years straight. PCA is only 24. I guarantee this is his only 40/40 season.
