To Americans is less about if it’s a foul and more about dramatic play acting. Tbf to footballers, flopping is a fundamental part of the game and a way to get the ref to notice the foul. But to Americans it comes off as wimpy. He’s not even saying it hurt, but no one irl gets their toe stamped on and starts doing forward rolls lol

He is actually kicking him quite hard… And if you have played football you would know that it really hurts getting kicked like that, just like it really hurts getting stepped on simply because of the studs and the fact that football boots doesn’t provide any protection.
医療スタッフに関する最近のルール変更は正しい判断だと思う。今のところ結構試合を見てるけど、選手たちがそこまでケガをしにくくなったように見える。正直、今回のW杯で医療スタッフがピッチに入ったのを見た記憶がない。全体的に観戦体験が良くなったし、チームも時間稼ぎができなくなったよ。
Well i think FIFA made the right call with the recent changes regarding the medical team. I’ve watched plenty of games so far. the players do not seem so prone to injuries:) I honestly can;t remember if this WC i saw a medical team on the field.

It’s a foul but it’s still a flop. Flopping is a result of contorting your body unnaturally to insist to the ref that you were actually touched. Had he reacted naturally, he wouldn’t have fell the way he did
