This reminds me of 2014 WC final. I was on vacation in Mexico watching the game at the hotel. I noticed all of the Mexican staff were celebrating when Germany scored, which surprised me. I asked one of them why and they told me that Argentinian guests are the worst and treat the workers terribly and are basically racist towards them. They were thrilled that Germany won. Like, it was important to them to see Argentina lose.
