To give a bit more context, in Japan, when someone finishes a bowl of rice and wants more, they say 'Okawari!' to ask for a refill. When Nakamura was a rookie, he was asked about his favorite word, and he answered 'Okawari' in the situation other players would say "effort" or "teamwork" or something. That became his forever nickname. If he played in MLB, probably he would have been called Mr. Refill.
