I had a fan behind me hand me a balloon during the balloon release so I got to celebrate during the fight song. I think lots of japanese fans are like this, but it's not surprising a Tigers fan wanted you to be involved in the hilarity. Always inclusive, always passionate, sometimes bordering on insanity, those Tigers fans.

I was so happy to get a jersey. I also drank 4 lemon sours and was basically stumbling out of the stadium. I got my photo outside and my mini helmet. A fantastic evening. I can't wait to go back and bring friends.

I know that there's a subreddit where you can go through the help of buying tickets. I believe it's called /NPBTickets (don't quote me on that). この話題が出たからだけど、横浜は街としても球場としてもすごく評価が高いんだ。球場は街の中心部に位置してて、レストラン、ショッピング、バー、港なんかに囲まれてる。それに今年、「ベースゲート」っていう球場周辺の「ボールパークビレッジ」も追加されて、すごく良い感じだよ。もう東京には行ったことがあるみたいだから、ぜひ横浜で何泊か過ごすことをおすすめするよ。

Since we're on the topic, I rank Yokohama very highly, both as a city and a ballpark. The ballpark is right in the city center surrounded by restaurants, shopping, bars, the harbour, etc. and just this year they added a "ballpark village" around it called Basegate that is really nice. I encourage you to spent a couple of nights there, especially since you've already been to Tokyo.

I also collect them from MLB stadiums as the momento for saying I went to that Stadium. In the US they have ice cream in them but over in Japan you can get all different kinds of food. They also have medium sized ones! Basically a bucket of chicken tenders. And Sapporo I was able to get Hokkaido potatoes in one!

Look for the photos! All the food stalls have photos of the food. Look for the ones with the helmets. Some stadiums have medium sized helmets for larger food items such as potatoes. Look for the photos of the helmet with the ear flap.

Okay so no joke I had to go through the entire Stadium to try to find that one. It's so hard to find. When you're looking at the stadium it's on the left side of the field it's like a sausage Mobile Food Truck looking thing. I don't know the best way to describe it. It was at the store that was right next to the victory float with the Glico sign. Koshein has a few different colors. I was able to get a black one and a yellow one. Some of the stalls they have serve food other serve ice cream so make sure you get both!

There are a ton of stands around that sell them. If you need help finding anything do what I did and just show a photo of them and ask where to go. If anything use the photo from this post and ask them where to get it. There's different areas that sell them because depending on the stadium they have different food that you can put in. In the Tokyo dome you were able to get noodles chicken tenders beef tongue and I believe ice cream in it depending on where you went.

いつかぜひやってみて！ジャイアンツの試合に行くことを強くおすすめするよ。野球殿堂博物館もそこにあるからね。去年初めて日本に行った時にそれもやったんだけど、その美しさにただただ圧倒されたよ。

Gotta do it one day! I would highly recommend going to a Giants game because you can also go to the Japanese baseball Hall of Fame there. I did that what I went for my first time last year and I was just in awe of how beautiful it was.

So I only spent a day in Nagoya and it was awesome definitely one of my favorite cities that during my next trip I want to spend more time in. I stayed in Osaka as a middle point between a few cities and I took the shinkansen up north. I went to the railway museum and then I went over to the stadium. My stomach wasn't really feeling too well from eating so much the last few days but this is the first point in the trip where I was able to really devour a lot of the stadium food and it was awesome…

There's a shuttle????? I honestly had no idea. I literally flew 14 hours from JFK to HND then up to CTS. I was running on adrenaline at that point in the day.
