チェリムがいるクラブはセレッソ大阪だよ。桜をイメージしたチームだからすごく合ってる。
The club with Cherrim is Cerezo Osaka, which imagery includes cherry blossom so it fits well

セレッソ大阪ファンとしてはガッカリだな。他のチームのはみんなカッコいいのに。ガンバはレントラーだし、J3のFC大阪はアシレーヌ。このリストの中で一番カッコよくないポケモンかも。コガネシティが大阪のモデルだから、それにちなんでミルタンクでも良かったのに。まあ進化しないし、桜のイメージで行きたかったんだろうけどさ。
As a Cerezo Osaka fan, it's disappointing. Everybody else's was badass. Gamba get Luxray and J3 FC Osaka get Primarina. Probably the least badass Pokémon on the list. Could've had Miltank as a reference to Goldenrod as Osaka, but I guess it doesn't evolve and they want to go for the cherry blossom angle.

ポケモン公式によると、彼はそのうち全てのクラブに登場するらしい。中立のファン/サポーターみたいな立ち位置だね。彼とピカチュウだけは、どのクラブも選べない唯一のポケモンだった。全クラブを公にサポートできるようにするためだよ。
Pokemon confirmed that he would be appearing at all of the clubs at some point. He's more like a neutral fan/supporter. He and pikachu were the only pokemon that could not be picked by any of the clubs because they (the two pokemon) were meant to be able to openly support all clubs.
単に「サッカーチーム」ってだけでマスコットを選ぶのは、ちょっと安易すぎるよね。
Picking a mascot based solely on "football team" would be a bit reductive
実はエースバーンって、日本サッカー協会のユース・育成プログラムの公式マスコットなんだよね。
Actually, Cinderace is the official mascot of the Japanese Football Associations Youth and Development program
ゲームのキャラと各チームをただマッチングさせただけだし、なんでエースバーンが選ばれなかったのかは謎（idk）だな。

I would actively love this in UK football. I support a team in the second division who’s logo is a sword - the Aegislash merch prints itself

各試合の会場で、片面にホームチームの相棒ポケモン、もう片面に特別なピカチュウがデザインされたバッグを配るみたい。コラボグッズの計画も進んでるらしいよ。
Looks like they’re handing out bags in person at each game with the Pokémon partner for the home team on one side and a special pikachu design on the other. There are also apparently collab merchandise plans in the works

I didn't even know Urawa Red Diamonds existed but I will now cheer when they prove that Incineroar is the goat no matter the game

クラブワールドカップ（Club World Cup）に出場したから知ってるだけだけど、面白い大会だったな。
I only know of them because they made it to the Club World Cup. It was a fun tournament.

どのポケモンも誰かしらのお気に入りだし、もしかしたらケンホロウが欲しかったのかもよ。
Every Pokémon is someone’s favourite, maybe they wanted Unfezant.
頭おかしいと思われるかもしれないけど、俺は未だにそれを信じてない。そういう人気投票とかで証明されたとしても、お気に入りでもないのにネタで不人気ポケモンに投票した奴がいるはずだって思っちゃう。でもケンホロウに関しては、まあ分からなくもないか。
Call me crazy but I still don't believe that, and whenever there's polls or surveys that prove it I just know there's people who voted for unpopular Pokémon on purpose even though it's not their favorite. But as for unfezant, I guess it's kinda valid

あとがき：訳スタ雑談
Jリーグとポケモンがコラボとかマジかよ。エンブレムと相棒ポケモンの選定、バチクソ気になるわ。
ふむ、実に興味深いですね。地域性に合わせた選定、海外ファンが驚くのも納得のクオリティです。
それはえぐいな。せやけど、地元のスーパーで売ってる半額の唐揚げが一番の夢コラボやろが。
いやはや、衣のカリカリ感と脂の旨味は至高ですね。あ、つい本音が……醤油ダレが染みてて最高なんです。
お前さんも分かっとるやんけ。やっぱり晩酌は冷えたビールと唐揚げに限るわ、これマジで優勝やん。
同感です。さらにキャベツの千切りにマヨネーズを添えれば、もはや芸術作品と言っても過言ではないですね。
