引き分けでスウェーデンが突破できるって知らなかったらしいよw 試合後のインタビューで本人が言ってた。

I mean, yeah. When he signed everyone was quite clear with that just getting to the World Cup would be a bonus. This is like a bonus within that bonus, even though I don't have high hopes for us to make it any further. As long as we don't get another Netherlands-style bashing, it's been more than a good World Cup for us, given what we expected beforehand.

That's more or less how I view it as an outsider. Even if Potter's tenure ends badly, as it usually does, he's at least gone ahead and done his job. He got them to the world cup, and now even past the group stage. No matter how it ends in the future his appointment was the right one, at least initially.

You would def prefer brazil over France. If Vini has a bad game or the put a few players on him that could be enough to lock them out. France has so much attacking talent

ブラジルも同じだろ？確かにフランスの方が断然上だし、みんなフランスより俺たちと当たりたいだろうけど、うちの攻撃陣もタレント揃いだよ。粗削りかもしれないけど、試合を決められるクオリティは間違いなくある（クーニャ、パケタ、エンドリッキ、ラヤン、ルイス・エンリキ、イゴール・チアゴ…）。ヴィニが他のメンバーより頭一つ抜けてるにしても、彼だけに依存してるわけじゃない。

So does Brazil? I mean yeah France is waay better for sure, I figure people would rather play us than them but our attack is pretty stacked with talents as well, maybe mostly raw talent but there's definitely a lot of quality to make things happen (Cunha, Paquetá, Endrick, Rayan, Luiz Henrique, Igor Thiago...), it's not so dependent on Vini despite him being a couple of steps ahead of everyone else on the squad.
