この前、あるリスナーがこの案を電話で提案した時、デビッド・バセーはすごく偉そうで嫌な奴だった。謝罪すべきだね。彼は最近、リスナーを軽蔑するような態度を見せなくなってきてたんだけど、この件については完全に本性がバレたよ。

David Vassegh was such a smug asshole about this idea when a caller called in suggesting it the other day. He should apologize. He’s gotten a bit better not showing contempt for fans calling in general, but really let the mask slip when someone called about this.

そのニュースを聞いた時、最初に思ったことだw 彼、ロートベットを再獲得するアイデアを「怠慢」って呼んでたと思う。

First thing I thought of when I heard the news lol. I think he called it "lazy" on the idea to reacquire him.

It's a little jarring. Vassegh seems so jovial and happy-go-lucky during his side commentary segments but then can drop ALL of that if some unlucky soul hits a nerve. Yikes

He’s been annoying the entire time. The only time he’s ever right is when he’s pointing out the obvious

I stopped listening to Vassegh for same reason. He’s bipolar and randomly snaps at callers with questions or ideas that are not egregious at all.

I turn down the radio when he is on. He's a radio interview guy but conducts himself like he is somehow a part of the fabric of the Dodgers.

This is exactly what I thought of when I saw the news. The guy sounded so defeated after Dave called the idea "lazy". To be fair, that was before Rushing was scratched due to this arm thing.

That response from DV really stood out so I’m not surprised someone would bring it up here. Someone also suggested it last night to Tim Cates and he was much more professional and agreeable about it.

もしラッシングが、AAAとMLBの境界線を行ったり来たりする選手がロースターに加わることで不安になるなら、そっちの方が大きな問題だよ。

If Rushing is insecure about a AAAA player joining the roster, that's a bigger problem.

ダルストンは現時点でもうメジャーリーガーだと証明してる。万年控えの選手から心配することは何もないと思う。彼こそまさに、メジャーリーグの先発レベルのキャッチャー2人のまともなバックアップとして必要な選手なんだ。

Dalton has proven to be a major leaguer at this point. I dont think he has anything to worry about from a career backup. He is exactly what we need, a decent backup for two major league starter-level catchers

去年も言ったけど、ベンを健全な競争のために残しておくことを願ってたんだ。もしラッシュが、一年間マイナーで過ごした選手をそんなに気にするなら…。

Said it last year, was hoping they'd keep Ben around for some healthy competition. If Rush's that concerned about a guy who's spent the year in the minors....

Maybe among fans. Anyone with decision making power knew exactly what they were looking at. Ben caught lightning for a while there and had some great moments, but the difference in hitting talent is too much.

Andre Ethier only talks to him because it’s literally his job. You can tell when the players are roasting him, they smile like they don’t mean it but they absolutely do. Aside from Jerry Hairston Jr, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else related to the Dodgers get hit with any kind of joke at all. And Jerry is basically soliciting them because that’s just his sense of humor.
