Gosh I miss seeing pitchers have a chance to hit. When they’d get a nice base hit or even hit a home run once in a blue moon, it was always an awesome surprise.

激しく同意。それとあの牽制球制限ルールも大嫌いだわ。走者を油断させず、投手がしっかり警戒してるって意識させるのは野球が始まって以来の根幹だったはず。進塁が認められるまでに投手を3回引っ掛けさせようと走者を促すようなルールなんて、くだらなすぎる。

Absolutely. That and I hate the “throw over” rule. I think keeping a runner honest and aware that the pitcher knows what he is doing has been a core part since baseball was invented. The fact that the rule incentivizes the runner to trick the pitcher three times before being allowed to advance is such BS to me.

正直それに関してはどっちの意見も分かるんだよな。今のルールだと悪用されやすすぎるけど、走者と全く関係ない理由で延々と牽制球を投げ続けるのを見るのも嫌だったし。
上限を3回から5回に増やしてみたらどうだろう。知らんけど。

I go back and forth on this one honestly. It's too easy to game in the current form but I also hated seeing a guy continuously throw over for reasons that didn't have anything to do with the runner at all.
Maybe up the limit from 3 to 5. idk
