本当にクリーンな試合だった。両チームとも素晴らしいスポーツマンシップとお互いへの敬意を示してた。今まで観た中で最もクリーンで、最も面白い試合の一つだよ。

Absolutely ethical game, both teams played a great deal of sportsmanship and respect. One of the cleanest, most fun games I’ve ever seen.

この試合、目を離すたびに誰かがゴール決めてやがる。仕事から帰るからノートPCを閉じたんだ。86分の時点で2-1だったのに、当然のように日本が追いついてドロー。なんてこった！！！

Every fucking time I looked away this game, someone scored. Then, I turned my laptop off cus I was going home from work. It was 2-1 at the 86min mark and of course Japan scores to draw the game. F ME!!!!!

俺のテレビ、あのネオンオレンジのユニフォームにバグってたわw 本当に全体的に素晴らしい試合だった。終わってほしくなかったよ。日本の戦い方、本当に好きだな。自分たちの強みを完璧に理解してプレーしてる。

My TV did not know what to do with those neon orange uniforms lol. Fantastic game all around. Didn’t want it to end. I really like how Japan play. They know exactly who they are and play to their strengths.

解説者が「日本はクロスを上げてヘディングを狙うのをやめるべきだ」って言った直後に、日本がまさにその通りの形から同点ゴールを決めたの、本当に最高だったな。

The announcers commenting about how Japan should stop trying crosses and going for headers, right before they scored the equalizer doing exactly that, was pure gold.

これぞ本物のワールドカップの試合って感じだな。今日までは韓国とチェコが大会を引っ張ってた。スコットランドとハイチの試合も悪くなかったけどね。

Now this was a proper World Cup match. South Korea and Czechia were doing a lot of heavy lifting prior to today. Though Scotland and Haiti was decent too.

我が国USAなら、オランダにも日本にも絶対に勝てると確信してるぜ。

両チームとも素晴らしい後半だった。同点ゴールを目指して全力で攻めた日本の、見事な同点劇だったよ。オランダの方が良く見える時間帯もあったけど、引き分けという結果は妥当なところだね。

That was a great second half by both teams, and it was a well-deserved comeback from Japan, who went full kamikaze style for that equalizer. A draw is a realistic outcome, even though the Netherlands looked somewhat better at moments.

この試合で確信した。オランダはいつまで経ってもワールドカップにおけるトッテナムだな。良いチームではあるんだが、最後に勝ち切るための決定的な何かが足りない。

This game confirms that Netherlands will always be the Tottenham of World Cup. They are a decent team but just don’t have what it takes to get over the finish line.

本当に素晴らしい試合だった。緊迫感があって、一気に爆発するような展開。久保が大丈夫だといいな、彼は日本にとってめちゃくちゃ重要だから。日本代表の闘志溢れる姿勢、常に攻撃を狙う姿勢が大好きだ。オランダ代表には驚かされたな。守備ばかりで攻撃は何もないと思ってたけど、特に前半は試合をかなりコントロールしていたし、攻撃でもマレンたちに多くのチャンスを作っていた。それはそれとして、クリセンシオの名前は絶対に忘れないよ。

Really good match, tight, tense, and then explosive with life. Hope Kubo’s alright, he’s huge for Japan. Loved to see the fight in the Japanese team, they’re always looking to attack. Surprised by the Dutch team, thought they’d be all defense and nothing in offense, but they were controlling a lot of the match, esp in the first half, while still creating a lot of opportunities for Malen and others in attack. C that being said, Crysencio is a name I will never forget.
