He hasn’t even played a full season worth of games yet in his MLB career. He’s in his 2nd year in the league after playing a third of a season last year. He’s incredibly young and new to this. He took responsibility. I hated him before I saw this interview. I’ve always thought he was pompous and arrogant. He seems to have understood the message. It seems heartfelt. I really like him now. I won’t if it happens in Ohtani’s next start with him but either way Dalton is so young as a human and he’s trying to adapt to the most difficult sports league, imo, of all time at a very young age. Get off his back and let him live his life while learning from his mistakes that WE ALL MAKE. I’m not even an LA fan and yesterday I wasn’t a Dalton Rushing fan but I definitely am now. Have a great career and keep up the accountability along with the great numbers as a BACKUP ROOKIE CATCHER bro. As ridiculous as Ohtani’s career is, a rookie catcher that doesn’t even start most games, that could hit 20+ homers this year would be something special

It was like he was calling out Ohtani as the alpha, which between the two Rushing obviously isn’t, and like Ohtani deserved to be publicly humiliated on tv when they easily could and should have had that chat after calling time out while heading to the mound in a quieter and more respectful setting

I think the blister and Ohtani's lack of command are ruining his ERA, not Rushing. He was never winning the CYA anyway with how insane the NL pitchers are this year.
